Our Mission and Vision at Traylor Academy
Mission: Traylor exists to be a community school centered on kindness and respect. We believe that we are better together than we are apart from each other and that everyone is welcome here.
Vision: We strive to be the positive and inclusive “hub” of Bear Valley with academic, social/emotional, and enrichment support and services for students, staff, and families.
Traylor Academy is a neighborhood school in Bear Valley where our students come first. We are proud to serve students age 3 years old through 5th grade from all over the city. We offer mental health and social emotional lessons and support, ensure acceleration of grade level standards in each classroom, and make decisions that reflect an equity-centered mindset. Traylor is a place where students are loved and celebrated. We are also proud to offer before and after school care through Discovery Link for our K-5th graders.
