I’m Jessica Martinez, and I am the intermediate math interventionist and one of Traylor’s senior team leads. I am so excited to be returning to Traylor for my third year and have been in education for 13 years.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I earned a Media Ethics degree from CU-Boulder. After graduation, I worked in public relations for about 6 months as well as in an after-school technology program. While I enjoyed my time in public relations, I found that I was at my happiest when I was working with children. Through this, I found my way into education via an instructional aide position in Aurora. I earned my masters from Regis University in Elementary Education and have been teaching ever since.

Outside of education, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and loved ones as well as horseback riding and traveling.
