2nd- Math/Science/Social Studies
Hello! My name is Kristine Dunn. This is my 32nd year of teaching! I started my teaching career in California, teaching Kindergarten. I have taught ECE, first grade, and this is my 21st year teaching second grade. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Colorado Christian University. I earned my Master’s degree in Literacy from Lesley University. I am a Colorado native and am happy to say that I am teaching in the neighborhood that I grew up in. I have two wonderful sons that I am so incredibly proud of and they are at the center of my heart. When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking, going to and volunteering at my church, watching basketball, shopping, trying new recipes, and spending time with my family. Throughout these past 25 years at Traylor, I have enjoyed establishing bonds with students and their families, and building relationships with faculty and staff. I love what I do and I feel so blessed to be a part of so many children’s lives. Teaching children and being a part of their learning is the ultimate reward for me. It’s great to see former students of mine graduating from high school and now attending college. It brings me so much joy to see some of my former students pursuing a career in education. Time goes by so fast and I am so incredibly grateful to be a part of such a wonderful group of people here at Traylor.
