Morgan Appleman

Hello! My name is Morgan Appleman, and this is my first year at Traylor Elementary. I have been a special education teacher for seven years, and my journey has taken me through a range of experiences, from working with middle schoolers to high school students in different academic settings. Before moving to Denver, I taught in Chicago Public Schools, and I am proud to have earned my degree as a Learning and Behavior Specialist from Illinois State University. I look forward to using my degree and experience to support our diverse learners at Traylor Elementary.

Moving to Colorado has been an amazing experience for me. I love working in Denver Public Schools because of the rich diversity, strong communities, and the wonderful families that make up this district. My passion for education stems from a belief that every student deserves access to a quality education, and I aim to inspire a love for learning in each of my students. I believe that joy and safety are the foundation of every successful classroom, and I look forward to creating a positive and supportive environment for all my students this year!
